The Center has told the Supreme Court that both "same rank" and "same service period" are prerequisites for availing OROP benefits. The Supreme Court has slammed the Center for its "hyperspeak" on the "One Rank One Pension" (OROP) policy of the armed forces. Both 'same rank' and 'same service length' are necessary for OROP payment, Center informs SC.
