 From January 1, the Center will collect all MGNREGA attendance data digitally.from January 1, 2023, the Center will require all workers employed under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme to digitally record their attendance. The National Mobile Monitor System, a trial initiative launched by the government in May 2021 to track attendance through a mobile application, was designed to increase openness and accountability (NMMS).
